I have been issued a physical card, but it's not activated. What should I do?

The system shows card status as not active mainly because of two reasons, either registered mobile phone number is not verified or KYC is not done. Please do OTP verification of your mobile as prompted during login and/or upload KYC documents.

During funds transfer, 'I'm getting 'Card blocked' message. Why?

The most common reason for this is the Inactive card. You cannot transfer funds using an inactive card. Please check your card status from “Card Management” section of Dashboard.

Is it possible to change my email? If yes, how can I do that?

No, right now this feature is not available in the system.

How can I change my phone no?

Right now the system does not allow you to change your registered phone number.

How can I change my registered name?

You can change/update your registered name from “Edit Profile” page listed in “Account Holder Set-up” section. (Note: Name can be updated only once in the system)

How many times can I replace my card?

You can replace your card as many times as you want. However the new card is chargeable.

How do I upgrade to a higher limit card?

You can increase your card limit by upgrading your account’s Due Diligence level to Full Due Diligence (FDD) or to Extended Due Diligence (EDD) from Simple Due Diligence (SDD) level. Upgrade your account feature is available in “Account Holder Set-up” section.

If I change my address, will I have to re-submit KYC?

Yes, KYC re-submit is required whenever you change the registered address.

Can I opt for multiple cards?

Yes, you can opt multiple cards but each card will have different Account Numbers and user IDs.

Can I gift a card to my friend/relative?

No, the card is not transferable. However, your friend/relative can register with/without card and you could do a card to card transfer.

How much time it takes to get the physical card delivered to my address?

Once you order for a physical card, it will be delivered to your address in 5 to 15 business days.

Is Virtual Card available after sign up?

Yes, users will receive their Virtual Cards instantly after the sign up.

Is the card number for Virtual Card and Physical Card same?

No, the card number for Virtual Card and Physical Card is different.

How to reset my password for Batwa Card?

  • Go to BATWA user portal login page and click on the “Forgot Password” link
  • Enter your registered email id, password and confirm password in their respective fields
  • Click on the “Reset Password” button.
  • Enter the OTP you have received in your email and click on the “Ok” button.
  • This will reset your password and you will be able to login to your account successfully. If you haven’t received the OTP within 30 seconds then please check the “Junk” folder your mailbox.

Can I lock my BATWA card ?

  • After login, click on the ‘Card Management’ option visible on the main menu
  • Enter PIN: A text box to allow you to enter a 4 digit PIN
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button. A pop-up will be displayed on the screen stating that card has been blocked.

How to Unblock my Batwa Card ?

  • After login click on the ‘Card Management’ option visible on the main menu
  • Click on the ‘Lock’ slide button
  • Enter PIN: A text box to allow you to enter a 4 digit PIN
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button
  • A pop up will be displayed on the screen stating that the card has been unblocked.

Till what time my card activation will be done

User’s account will not be active until mobile verification and KYC document submission is successfully completed.
